
M.Sc. - Researchr associate
During her Bachelor's degree in Applied Leisure Studies at Bremen University of Applied Sciences and an Erasmus Mundus Master's program in European Tourism Management, Franziska focused on sustainable tourism.
Since 2017, Franziska has worked in national and international tourism consulting. Her focus areas include sustainable, climate-friendly tourism development, destination management and marketing, as well as capacity building and training.
Since 2021, Franziska Rottig has been a research associate at the Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development. Initially, she worked in the Sustainable Tourism Management program, integrating teaching activities and supervising and evaluating project and Master's theses. She is currently involved in several international projects as a research associate, including in sub-Saharan Africa, Ukraine, and the Western Balkans.
Since 2022, Franziska has been leading research projects for ZENAT and is a member of its board.
